Rachel Ropella (she/her) is a Midwestern director and the Artistic Director of Minneapolis-based theater company, Melancholics Anonymous. She has spent the past six years creating award-winning new plays for the Minnesota Fringe and Edinburgh Fringe, with remounts in London and Sibiu, Romania. Regionally, she’s worked at Milwaukee Rep, Hartford Stage, Portland Stage, and Dorset Theatre Festival. She is the Education and Engagement Manager at the Guthrie and is an alumna of St. Olaf College and NTI. Proud associate member of SDC. @rachel_ropella
